PayPal

To trade online, realistically you need to accept credit card payments. In the normal course of events, this can take several weeks, it can be technically challenging to set up and not everyone qualifies. However, with a Startershop, anyone can accept credit card payments right away.

The payment system we use is called PayPal. Startershop has been built with PayPal pre-installed. All of which means that you do not need to be registered to take credit cards. If you do not already have a PayPal account, it takes approximately half an hour to set one up (See PayPal).

Thereafter, PayPal handles all credit card transactions, by placing the money in your PayPal account. You just access your PayPal account and collect the money from there.

PayPal is developed by eBay to run their payment system. As the payment system at the heart of the world’s largest online store, it comes with the reassurance that the system is tried and tested, trustworthy and secure.
