Fees for the First Year
A Startershop will cost £199 exclusive of VAT. (£199 setup fee, and then 1 years free service.)
These costs relate to our initial product. We will be introducing a range of other products in due course, which will have increasing levels of sophistication and will be priced accordingly.This amount represents the entire costs for a year.
Fees in Subsequent Years
It is our intention to continually improve Startershop in terms of its performance, features and security. Each year, after the first, we will charge a monthly fee of £10 exclusive of VAT. This figure covers the cost of: hosting; maintaining the servers (the computers your Startershop is held on); any technical and security updates required; maintenance to the site to keep it up and running; ongoing enhancements to Startershop.
Charges for Changes to your Startershop "Infrastructure"
Your Startershop’s infrastructure contains aspects including: colour, logo, shop name and web address. These are all automatically coded into our system. If you wish to make a change to any of these infrastructure items we are required to conduct a certain amount of technical intervention for which we make a charge of £25 for each "batch" of changes. A "batch" of changes might be changing the logo, colour and shop name in one go; basically any number of changes (within reason) that you request simultaneously.
None of this alters your ability to go about the normal activity of running your Startershop. I.e. edit and alter the stock, pictures, descriptions, wording and other items on your store ad infinitum without any charge whatsoever.
Legal Blurb
Our solicitor tells us that we reserve the right to alter these prices without notice. We would like to add that we currently have no intention of doing so. From time to time, we may discount the price of a Startershop during promotions at exhibitions; we may also provide optional additional items for purchase, meaning your final order value may vary. At all times we will ensure that you know what you are purchasing, and for how much, before you provide your payment details.
